THE OPENING MOMENT
As women in business, we’re surrounded by conversations about productivity, consistency, discipline and doing more, but we rarely talk about the body we’re expecting to keep up with all of it.
Our energy changes. Our hormones change. Our creativity changes. And as we move through different seasons of womanhood, particularly into our mid-thirties and beyond, those changes can become harder to ignore.
So what if understanding your body could actually change the way you work, create and live?
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
In this episode, I sit down with clinical nutritionist Tris Alexandra to have a conversation I think so many ambitious women need to hear.
We explore what’s actually happening inside our bodies when we feel exhausted, disconnected or like something has suddenly changed, and how understanding our hormones and menstrual cycle can give us far more information than we realise.
We talk about the signs of burnout women often overlook, the relationship between hormones and creativity, simple routines that support hormonal health, cycle tracking and productivity, basal body temperature and ovulation, and some of the misconceptions surrounding perimenopause.
More than anything, this conversation is about learning to work with your body rather than constantly demanding more from it.
THE CONVERSATION
Tris shares her own health journey and what eventually led her into women's health and clinical nutrition, before we dive into something I think a lot of women over 35 will recognise: feeling like the things that used to work suddenly don't anymore.
We talk about burnout and the signs we can easily dismiss when we're busy running businesses, raising families and managing everything else life throws at us. Sometimes what we've normalised as being "busy" is actually our body asking for more support.
Tris explains the role our hormones play in everything from our mood and energy to our ability to handle stress, and why hormonal health can't be looked at in isolation. Gut health, nervous system regulation, nutrition, sleep and stress are all part of the bigger picture.
We also get into one of my favourite parts of the conversation: creativity and the menstrual cycle.
Rather than expecting ourselves to have exactly the same energy every day of the month, Tris explains how understanding the different phases of your cycle can help you recognise when you naturally feel more social, creative, inward or productive.
We talk about cycle tracking beyond simply knowing when your period arrives, including how basal body temperature can help you understand whether you're ovulating and give you a clearer picture of what's happening hormonally.
And, of course, we talk about perimenopause. There is so much fear and misinformation around this stage of life, and Tris brings a really empowering perspective to what it can look like when women actually understand and support their bodies through it.
This isn't about allowing your cycle to dictate your entire calendar or throwing your ambition out the window.
It's about having more information about yourself so you can make better decisions about how you work, rest, create and take care of yourself.
Because your body isn't working against you. There is usually far more information in what it's telling you than we've been taught to recognise.

A NOTE FROM KAMRI
What I loved about this conversation is that it gave me another way to think about the expectations we put on ourselves as women.
We talk so much about becoming more productive, building better routines and finding ways to squeeze more into our days, but maybe the answer isn't always figuring out how to get more from ourselves.
Sometimes it's understanding ourselves better.
I don't want to lose my ambition, and I don't think women should be told they need to choose between building something meaningful and looking after themselves. I think there is power in understanding our bodies well enough to know when to push, when to create, when to slow down and when something simply doesn't feel right.
The more information we have about ourselves, the more intentionally we can build our lives around the women we actually are.

What big brand campaigns can teach you about creative direction, and why copying what you see online will never make your brand more memorable.
THE OPENING MOMENT
I want to talk about something I see happening constantly online, and honestly, I completely understand why it happens.
You see a big brand launch a really clever campaign, you love the visual, you save it, and you immediately start thinking about how you could do something similar for your own business.
But somewhere between being inspired by the idea and recreating what you saw, we often lose the most important part: the thinking behind it.
And that is exactly what I want to unpack in this episode.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This isn't about telling you to stop looking at what other brands are doing. I actually think studying great creative work is one of the best things you can do as a business owner.
The difference is learning how to look at it like a creative director.
Instead of asking, “How can I recreate this?”, I want you to start asking, “Why did this work in the first place, and what could I do with that idea in a way that actually makes sense for my brand?”
In this episode, I explore:
What we can learn from some of the most interesting brand campaigns happening right now
Why unexpected collaborations, like Cadbury and MCoBeauty, create so much attention
The difference between being inspired by an idea and simply copying its execution
Why personality is becoming one of the most important parts of a memorable brand
How brands like Pizza Hut and Honda use creativity and storytelling to create campaigns people actually remember
Why documenting your business and conceptualising content are two completely different things
How to find the unique edge within your own business and turn it into creative ideas
Why you don't need a huge budget to create something genuinely interesting
Because I don't want you to become better at copying.
I want you to become better at thinking creatively for yourself.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I'm taking you inside the way I look at big brand campaigns and the things I think female entrepreneurs can actually learn from them.
And I want to make something really clear: I love seeing what other brands are doing. I save campaigns, I study visuals, I look at launches and I constantly pull inspiration from outside of my own industry. I think that's part of being a creative person.
The problem starts when inspiration becomes replication.
You see a campaign that worked for someone else and suddenly you're shooting in the same location, wearing the same type of outfit, recreating the same shot or using the same concept without ever stopping to ask whether it actually belongs in your brand.
I've seen this happen so many times, and it's one of the reasons I feel so strongly about creative direction. There is a huge difference between knowing what looks good and knowing why something works.
So we look at campaigns from brands like Cadbury, MCoBeauty, Pizza Hut and Honda and break down the creative thinking underneath them.
What was unexpected? Where was the personality? What made people stop and pay attention? What was the connection that made the campaign feel different from everything else in the feed?
Because once you understand those things, you can take the principle and turn it into something completely different.
We also talk about the difference between documenting your business and actually conceptualising content, because I think a lot of entrepreneurs have been told that if they simply film enough of their everyday life, they'll eventually have a strong content strategy.
But filming yourself working at your laptop isn't automatically storytelling.
Sometimes the strongest piece of content comes from an idea that has nothing to do with what everyone else in your industry is filming. It might be a visual metaphor, an unexpected collaboration, a cultural reference, a ridiculous idea that somehow makes perfect sense for your brand, or simply a perspective that only you could bring to the table.
That's the part I want you to start paying attention to.
Your next great piece of content might not be something you find on Instagram and recreate. It might come from something you've experienced, something you're obsessed with, something that makes you laugh, something you've noticed in your industry or a completely random connection your brain has made.
That is creativity.
And that is where your competitive advantage lives.
KEY MOMENTS YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT
06:04 — What the Cadbury and MCoBeauty collaboration can teach us about creating attention
07:00 — Why unexpected brand collaborations work so well
07:28 — Why having clarity around your brand doesn't mean everything has to look safe or predictable
08:23 — How to find the thing that makes your brand different and actually bring it to life
09:19 — What Pizza Hut's playful approach to marketing can teach us about personality
10:13 — Why personality can make people remember your brand long after they've forgotten your content
11:39 — Looking at Honda's campaign and the power of unexpected storytelling
14:06 — The difference between documenting your business and conceptualising content
16:00 — Why copying someone's content without understanding the original idea will always leave you one step behind
17:28 — How to build campaigns around what makes your own business interesting
20:27 — Using visual metaphors to tell a bigger story about your brand
22:56 — Why generic B-roll isn't a substitute for having an actual creative idea
24:04 — Why you don't need a huge budget to make people pay attention
25:24 — How to take inspiration from other brands without becoming a copy of them
27:04 — Creating unexpected connections and collaborations
27:28 — What happens when you let more of your personality into your content
27:50 — Why the idea needs to come before the camera
28:42 — Why being recognisable is more valuable than simply creating more content
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
I actually think being inspired by other people is a really beautiful part of being creative. I have absolutely had people inspire things I've created, and I've also seen people take inspiration from my work, which I genuinely love.
But there is a question I want you to start asking yourself before you recreate something you saw online:
Does this actually make sense for my business, or am I just doing it because it looks cool?
Because those are two very different things.
You don't need to be the first person to ever think of an idea. You don't need to reinvent the wheel every time you create something. But you do need to bring your own perspective into the room.
Your business has a story, a personality, a history, a sense of humour, a way of seeing the world and a collection of experiences that nobody else has.
That is where your best ideas are going to come from.
So take inspiration from the big brands. Study the campaigns. Pull apart the strategy. Ask yourself why something made you stop scrolling.
But then close Instagram and go create something that could only have come from you.

A Love Letter From Your Fellow Creative
Why I created AN ICON—and why I believe creatives deserve a bigger seat at the table.
THE OPENING MOMENT
This isn't just another business podcast.
It's a love letter.
To the woman with a notebook full of ideas. To the creative who's been told to tone it down.To the founder who knows she was made to build something extraordinary but feels like she's constantly being told to follow someone else's blueprint.
I created AN ICON because I believe creativity deserves a platform.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This episode isn't about marketing tactics or business strategy.
It's about why I felt called to create AN ICON in the first place.
I share:
The real reason this podcast exists
Why I believe creatives are some of the most valuable people in business today
How we've been conditioned to value strategy over imagination
Why I stopped chasing trends and started trusting my own creative voice
The role storytelling, emotion, and visual identity play in building unforgettable brands
My vision for the conversations we're going to have here—and the movement I hope we build together
If you've ever felt like your creativity has been sitting on the sidelines while everyone tells you to "just follow the formula," this episode is for you.
THE CONVERSATION
This episode is a little more personal.
I'm taking you behind the scenes of why I created AN ICON and what I hope this space becomes.
Over the years, I've watched the online business world become obsessed with strategy.
New algorithms.New frameworks.New formulas.New trends to chase every single week.
And while strategy absolutely matters, I couldn't help but notice something.
The people creating the most memorable brands weren't just the smartest marketers.
They were the most creative.
They had a perspective.A point of view.A world people wanted to be part of.
As a Creative Director, I've had the privilege of stepping inside so many incredible businesses.
One thing I've realised is that every founder has something beautifully unique about them.
But somewhere along the way, so many women have been taught to smooth out their edges. To become more marketable.More relatable.More like everyone else.
I don't want that anymore.
I created AN ICON because I wanted to build a platform where creativity isn't treated like an afterthought.
Where founders, artists, photographers, designers, storytellers, filmmakers, stylists, and visionary entrepreneurs can share not just what they've built—but how they think.
Because I genuinely believe creativity is the thing that moves businesses forward.
It's what creates emotional connection. It's what builds brands people never forget. And it's what separates businesses that simply sell... from businesses that leave a legacy.
This podcast is my invitation back to creativity.
Not as a hobby.
As your greatest competitive advantage.
KEY MOMENTS YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT
00:00 — Why I wanted to record this episode
01:19 — The story behind creating AN ICON
03:36 — Why creativity deserves a bigger place in business

07:26 — Why originality is becoming your greatest business advantage
08:23 — What you can expect from future conversations on AN ICON
09:22 — My hope for every creative who listens
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
If you take one thing away from this episode, let it be this:
You don't need another person telling you how to become someone else.
The world has enough copies.
What it needs is more people who are willing to create from who they really are.
AN ICON exists because I believe creatives deserve to be seen.
I believe your ideas matter.
I believe your perspective matters.
And I believe the businesses that will shape the future won't just be built by great strategists.
They'll be built by brave creatives who are willing to see the world differently.
If that's you...
Welcome.
You're exactly where you're meant to be.

The Death of Vanilla Branding with Shani Timms
Brands people remember aren't the prettiest — they're the ones brave enough to have a personality.
THE OPENING MOMENT
Your branding doesn't need to be prettier.
It needs to be braver.
Because the brands that people remember, talk about, and buy from aren't built on beige templates and safe choices.
They're built on personality.Perspective.And a willingness to be different.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This conversation goes far beyond logos, colours, and fonts.
It's about understanding why some brands instantly connect with people while others disappear into the noise.
In this episode, Shani and I unpack:
The psychology behind strong branding
Why so many women hide behind safe visual identities
The difference between branding that looks good and branding that converts
How visual identity influences perception, trust, and buying decisions
Why personality is one of the most powerful branding assets you have
The importance of creating from authenticity instead of trends
How creatives can build businesses without sacrificing their energy
If you've ever wondered why some brands seem magnetic while others struggle to gain traction, this episode will change the way you think about branding.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I sit down with brand creator and founder of the Done in a Day Method, Shani Timms, for a conversation that blends creativity, psychology, business strategy, and personal growth.
Shani shares her journey from creative entrepreneur to developing a completely different way of delivering branding projects — one that challenged traditional agency models and transformed the way she works with clients.
We dive into what makes branding effective in the first place.
Because the truth is, great branding isn't just about looking beautiful.
It's about creating a feeling.
It's about helping people instantly understand who you are, what you stand for, and why they should care.
One of my favourite parts of this conversation is our discussion around how many women unintentionally dilute their brand by playing it safe.
Choosing colours because they're trendy.Copying competitors.Trying to appeal to everyone.
And in the process, losing the very thing that would make them memorable.
Shani also shares how she developed her Done in a Day Method — condensing branding projects into a single day to create faster results, stronger client experiences, and more sustainable creative work.
We talk about burnout, boundaries, motherhood, creativity, income ceilings, and the systems that allow creative businesses to thrive.
Because being creative doesn't mean you have to operate in chaos.
And success doesn't have to come from working harder.
This episode is a reminder that your uniqueness isn't a liability in business.
It's your greatest advantage.
KEY MOMENTS YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT
00:00 — Why the strongest brands have personality and a point of view
02:09 — Shani's creative journey and how it all began
08:31 — The psychology behind branding that actually works

16:33 — Branding that converts vs branding that simply looks good
21:28 — Creating brands from soul energy and authenticity
29:24 — The story behind the Done in a Day Method
31:56 — Designing entire brands in a single day
34:00 — Balancing motherhood, business, and creativity

43:00 — Breaking income ceilings as a creative entrepreneur
46:10 — Escaping the feast-or-famine cycle
47:49 — Rapid-fire branding insights and advice
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
One thing I loved about this conversation is that it reinforced something I believe deeply:
People don't connect with perfect.
They connect with real.
In a world where so many brands are starting to look the same, the businesses that will win are the ones willing to be themselves.
To have a point of view.To show personality. To create something that feels human.
Because branding isn't about fitting in.
It's about creating something people remember.
And that's what makes a brand iconic.

How I turned a $500 photoshoot into a visual identity that shaped my entire business.
THE OPENING MOMENT
Before reels. Before personal branding became a buzzword. Before everyone was talking about “showing up online”…
I took a brand photoshoot that changed the entire trajectory of my business.
And it wasn't because the photos were perfect.
It was because, for the first time, I saw myself as the woman I was becoming.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This episode isn't about spending thousands of dollars on a luxury brand shoot.
It's about understanding the power of visual identity — and how the way you present yourself online can completely shift how people see you, trust you, and buy from you.
I share:
The story behind my very first brand photoshoot as a personal stylist in 2018
How I created a strategic shoot on a budget
The exact planning that made the images feel premium and aligned
Why your visuals are building authority before you ever say a word
The mistake I see entrepreneurs make with generic stock imagery and AI-generated visuals
Why video content is the next evolution of visual identity
If you've been waiting until your business is “big enough” to invest in your visual presence, this episode might change your mind.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I'm taking you back to 2018 when I was a personal stylist with a big dream and a very small budget.
I had around $500 to spend on my first ever brand shoot — and I made every dollar count.
I didn't have a huge team, a luxury location, or unlimited outfit options. What I did have was a vision.
I thought intentionally about the story I wanted my audience to experience. The outfits, the locations, the poses, the feeling — every decision was designed to communicate something about my brand.
And when I received those images back, something shifted.
I didn't just see photos.
I saw proof of who I was becoming.
That confidence changed the way I showed up online, the way I spoke about my business, and the way I positioned myself.
In this episode, I also unpack why visuals have always mattered — even before the era of reels and short-form video.
People make decisions in seconds. They decide whether they trust you, whether they see you as an authority, and whether they want to know more.
Your visuals are part of that conversation.
I also talk about the future of visual branding, the rise of video content, and why businesses need to be thinking beyond a few pretty photos.
The brands that will win are the ones who create a recognisable visual world through photography, video, storytelling, and intentional creative direction.
Because your visuals don't just show people what you do.
They show people who you are.
KEY MOMENTS YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT
00:00 — My journey from personal stylist to creative director
00:29 — The first brand photoshoot that changed everything

A NOTE FROM KAMRI
If there is one thing I want you to take away from this episode, it's this:
Don't wait until you feel successful to start showing up like the woman you're becoming.
That first photoshoot didn't happen because I had already made it.
I did it because I believed in where I was going.
Your visuals are not vanity. They are not an extra expense. They are an investment in the way people experience your brand.
You don't need the biggest budget in the room.
You need a vision.
And trust me — that can change everything.

What if the reason you're exhausted isn't because you're doing it wrong... but because you're doing it someone else's way?
THE OPENING MOMENT
We've been taught that success should feel hard.
That if you're not exhausted, overworked, and constantly pushing, you're probably not doing enough.
But what if that's the lie?
What if the reason your business feels heavier than it needs to isn't because you're missing another strategy… but because you're building in a way that isn't designed for you?
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This conversation isn't just about Human Design.
It's about permission.
Permission to stop forcing.Permission to stop measuring yourself against everyone else.Permission to build a business that actually works for the person behind it.
In this episode, Lindell and I unpack:
Why do so many entrepreneurs become addicted to struggle
The hidden signs of burnout and business misalignment
How Human Design can become a practical framework for business
Why Projectors are not designed to build businesses like everyone else
The relationship between creativity, intuition, and energetic alignment
How visibility, recognition, and thought leadership create sustainable success
Why ease isn't something to feel guilty about
If you've ever wondered why success still feels exhausting despite doing all the "right" things, this episode will give you a completely different perspective.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I sit down with Human Design expert and business mentor Lindell Stewart for a conversation that challenged so much of what we've been taught about success.
We talk about the reality that many ambitious women are quietly experiencing: burnout.
Not because they're lazy. Not because they're incapable. But because they're constantly trying to force themselves into business models that don't honour how they're naturally designed to operate.
Lindell shares her own journey from burnout into discovering Human Design, and how understanding her energetic blueprint transformed the way she works, creates, and leads.
Together, we explore why entrepreneurship often rewards hustle culture, how many founders become addicted to struggle, and why "working harder" isn't always the answer.
As a fellow Projector, this conversation hit close to home.
We dive into what it actually means to build a business as a Projector, why recognition matters, how thought leadership creates opportunities, and why rest isn't something you earn after success — it's part of creating it.
We also explore creativity, intuition, and what becomes possible when you stop fighting your natural energy and start trusting it instead.
This episode is a reminder that success doesn't have to come at the expense of yourself.
And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop forcing and start listening.
KEY MOMENTS YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT

05:45 — Human Design explained in a practical business context
08:44 — Why entrepreneurs become addicted to struggle

54:57 — Success across every Human Design energy type
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
This conversation felt deeply personal for me.
As someone who is also a Projector, there were so many moments where I found myself nodding along because I've lived them.
For years, I thought success meant pushing harder.
Doing more.Posting more.Working longer.
But the older I get, the more I realise that building a successful business means understanding yourself first.
Not everyone is designed to succeed the same way.
And honestly? That's a beautiful thing.
If you've been feeling exhausted, frustrated, or like business shouldn't be this hard, maybe this episode is your invitation to stop asking what's wrong with you and start asking what might be right about you.

THE OPENING MOMENT
The most powerful brands in the world aren’t just “good businesses.”
They make people feel something. They create identity. Desire. Emotion. Aspiration.
And the reason some brands become unforgettable?Because they’ve built a world people never want to leave.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This episode is about the shift from simply “having a brand” → to creating an entire universe around it.
I’m breaking down:
What world building actually means in modern branding
Why emotional connection is the real reason people buy
How visual identity creates authority before you ever speak
The difference between content that gets seen vs brands that become iconic
What female founders can learn from brands like Rhode, Apple, and Alex Cooper
If you’ve been wondering why some brands feel magnetic while others are instantly forgettable — this episode explains why.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I dive into one of my favourite topics in branding right now: world building.
Because the brands dominating today aren’t just selling products or services anymore. They’re selling identity, feeling, and belonging.
I break down how the strongest personal brands and businesses create an emotional experience around what they do — where every visual, message, campaign, and piece of content feels connected to a bigger world.
And that’s what makes people obsessed.
I talk about how visual identity plays such a huge role in this.Because before someone buys into your offer, they buy into your energy, your aesthetic, your perspective, and the feeling your brand creates.
I also unpack examples from brands and founders doing this incredibly well.
From Hailey Bieber and the universe she’s built around Rhode…to Emma Grede and the authority she’s built through personal branding…to Apple creating one of the most recognisable brand worlds in history.
I also talk about Alex Cooper and how she’s evolved from podcast host into a full media authority through consistency, confidence, and brand expansion.
This episode is really a reminder that your brand is bigger than your logo, colours, or Instagram feed.
Your brand is the world people step into when they interact with you.
And the stronger that world becomes? The harder you are to forget.
KEY MOMENTS YOU’LL WANT TO REVISIT
00:00 — What world building actually means in branding01:52 — The shift most brands are missing right now02:54 — Why emotional connection drives buying decisions05:23 — How world building creates stronger brands07:27 — What makes Rhode such a powerful modern brand10:15 — Emma Grede and the power of personal branding13:00 — Why authority matters more than ever15:53 — What we can learn from Apple’s consistency18:11 — Alex Cooper’s evolution into media authority19:04 — Building a personal brand people remember20:53 — Practical steps to start building your own brand world22:32 — Final thoughts and next steps
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
I think one of the biggest mistakes people make is believing branding is just about looking good.
But the brands people truly connect with? They make people feel something.
That’s the difference.
Your audience doesn’t just want information anymore. They want identity. Emotion. Aspiration. They want to feel like they’re part of something bigger.
So stop asking yourself:“How do I get more views?”
And start asking:“What kind of world am I inviting people into?”
Because that changes everything.

THE OPENING MOMENT
What if the thing you’ve been taught to tone down…is actually the thing that would change your business?
Your creativity.Your individuality.Your way of seeing the world.
This episode is about what happens when women stop shrinking their creative power — and start owning it.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This conversation goes far beyond branding.
Tiffany and I unpack what it really means to build a brand that feels embodied, expressive, and deeply aligned with who you are — not just what performs online.
We talk about:
Why so many women suppress their creativity without realising it
The difference between being relatable vs being fully authentic
How embodiment changes the way you show up online
Why video content is one of the most powerful tools for visibility right now
The role of confidence, creativity, and visual identity in attracting high-level clients
What it actually takes to create a launch people remember
If you’ve been craving permission to create differently, this episode is it.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I sit down with Tiffany Dendal Foster — creative director, founder of Embodied Brand®, and one of the women who helped bring my podcast launch vision to life.
We talk about creativity in a way that feels deeper than “content strategy.”
Because creativity isn’t just a business tool. It’s part of who we are.
Tiffany shares her journey from network marketing into creative direction, videography, and facilitating transformational brand experiences for women — and how stepping fully into her creative identity changed everything.
One of the biggest conversations in this episode is around the conditioning women experience around creativity.
How so many women were taught to stay small, be practical, follow rules, and suppress the very parts of themselves that make them magnetic.
We also unpack the tension between relatability and authenticity online.
Because somewhere along the way, the online space convinced people that being “relatable” meant watering themselves down.
But relatable doesn’t always build desire.Authenticity does.
Tiffany and I also go behind the scenes of my podcast launch and the intentional creative direction behind it — from the visual storytelling to the energy we wanted people to feel when they experienced the brand.
This conversation is a reminder that attention is currency in today’s world. And creativity? That’s one of the most powerful ways to earn it.

A NOTE FROM KAMRI
This episode honestly felt like one big permission slip.
A reminder that creativity isn’t childish. It isn’t “extra.”And it’s definitely not something you need to tone down to be taken seriously.
Your creativity is part of your power.
The women who stand out, create impact, and build unforgettable brands are usually the ones brave enough to fully express themselves.
So if you’ve been hiding pieces of yourself to fit in online…this is your sign to stop.

Let’s be honest…
The way you show up matters. Before you speak. Before you sell. Before anyone even knows what you do.
People are already forming an opinion about you.And your style is leading that conversation.
WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This episode isn’t about fashion trends or having the “perfect” wardrobe.
It’s about understanding that your personal style is one of your most powerful business tools — whether you’re using it intentionally or not.
I’m breaking down:
Why your style is a direct extension of your brand
How what you wear influences confidence and how you carry yourself
The role style plays in authority and first impressions
Why blending in visually is costing you opportunities
What it looks like to actually own your aesthetic
This is about stepping into a version of yourself that people can feel — instantly.
THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I’m talking about something that so many women overlook in business — their personal style.
Not because it doesn’t matter. But because they’ve been taught that it’s “extra” or not as important as strategy, messaging, or offers.
But the truth is… your style is communicating before you ever say a word.
I break down how style acts as a visual language — shaping how people perceive you, how confident you feel, and how memorable your brand becomes.
Because when you feel good in what you’re wearing, you show up differently. You speak differently. You carry yourself differently.
And people pick up on that.
I also talk about the fear that comes with being seen.
The hesitation to wear something bold.To stand out.To be noticed.
But here’s the thing — the women who grow, the women who build strong personal brands, the women who become known…they’re willing to be seen.
This episode is really about giving yourself permission to stop playing small with your style — and start using it as a tool to elevate your presence.
Because style isn’t just how you look. It’s how you’re remembered.
KEY MOMENTS YOU’LL WANT TO REVISIT
00:00 — Why personal style matters more than you think02:56 — Style as a form of communication07:21 — How style builds confidence from the inside out11:25 — The fear of standing out (and how to move through it)15:06 — Owning your unique identity and making it visible
A NOTE FROM KAMRI
If you’ve been holding back with how you show up… this is your sign to stop.
You don’t need to wait until you feel more confident. You don’t need permission to dress like the woman you’re becoming.
You get to decide that now.
Your style is a reflection of who you are — and where you’re going. So let it be seen.

What It Really Takes to Build an Audience of 200K with Ang Simson
The real balance between visuals, messaging, and building influence that actually lasts.

THE OPENING MOMENT
What matters more… your visuals or your messaging?
Because everyone has an opinion on this. And in this conversation, we go there.
If you’ve ever felt torn between “looking good” online and actually saying something that lands…this episode will shift the way you see both.

WHAT THIS EPISODE REALLY UNLOCKS
This isn’t just a conversation about content.
It’s about what actually builds influence — and why so many women are focusing on the wrong things.
Angela and I unpack:
The difference between looking like a brand and actually being one
Why messaging will always carry more weight than aesthetics alone
How to create content that people feel, not just scroll past
The role of curiosity, hooks, and consistency in building momentum
What it really takes to stay authentic while growing online
This episode will challenge you to think deeper about how you’re showing up — and why.

THE CONVERSATION
In this episode, I sit down with Angela Simson to talk about her journey from network marketing into the online coaching space — and everything she’s learned about branding, content, and influence along the way.
Angela shares how her creative roots have shaped the way she shows up online, and why authenticity has been one of the biggest drivers of her growth.
We get into the real conversation around messaging vs visuals — and why, even as someone who teaches visual identity, I completely agree that messaging is what makes people stay.
Because you can have the most beautiful brand in the world…but if what you’re saying doesn’t land, it won’t convert.
We also talk about the power of curiosity in content — how creating a “gap” makes people lean in, stop scrolling, and actually engage.
Angela breaks down how she approaches content creation in a way that feels sustainable — including batching, repurposing, and staying visible without burning out.
We also touch on something that isn’t spoken about enough:self-doubt, energy, and the reality of being a woman in business.
From navigating hormonal shifts to balancing masculine and feminine energy — this conversation is honest, real, and something so many women will relate to.
This episode isn’t about choosing between visuals or messaging. It’s about understanding how to use both — intentionally.

A NOTE FROM KAMRI
This conversation is such a reminder that there isn’t one “right” way to build your brand.
You don’t need to fit into someone else’s formula. You don’t need to choose between being strategic or being yourself.
The real power comes when you bring both together.
Your visuals get people in the door.Your messaging makes them stay.
And when you learn how to own both? That’s when things really start to shift.
